TEAS Information
Test of Essential Academic Skills

The TEAS assessment consists of four subtests: Math, Science, English and Reading. Below is an explanation of each.

The MATH subtest measures knowledge of whole numbers, metric conversion, fractions and decimals, algebraic application, percentages, ratio/proportion and data interpretation.
There are 45 questions, 56 minutes allowed.

The SCIENCE subtest covers scientific reasoning, and life science, chemical science, physical sciences, human body science and general science.
There are 30 questions, 38 minutes allowed.

The ENGLISH subtest measures knowledge of punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and contextual words and spelling.
There are 55 questions, 65 minutes allowed.

The READING subtest covers paragraph comprehension, passage comprehension, and inferences and conclusions.
There are 40 questions, 50 minutes allowed.

TEAS Testing Dates:
Tuesday, June 17: 9:00 – 12:30 or 2:00 – 5:30.
Wednesday, June 18: 9:00 – 12:30 or 2:00 – 5:30.
Thursday, June 19: 9:00 – 12:30 or 2:00 – 5:30.
Students must sign up for a specific date/time.

TEAS Re-Test Dates:
July 23, 2008 @ 2:00- by appointment only.
