The Allied Health Computer Lab is located in the Advanced Technology Building, Lab 143.
General Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM & 1:45 PM - 5:30 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
The Allied Health Computer Lab provides computer software programs specific to each subject area of nursing. Some programs are required, others are an optional enhancement to the student learning process. Nursing students take scheduled computerized exams in the lab. The “Lab Hours” link contains the dates and hours the lab will be closed.
The TEAS exam (pre-entrance exam), and the LVN to RN Challenge Exams are given here. The link “Test of Essential Academic Skills” contains more information on this exam.
Each semester nursing students must pass a Math Dosage Calculation Exam. This computerized exam is given prior to the first day of the semester. A computer practice program is also available to assist the student in preparing for the exam. Links on the left side of the screen contain dates and type of questions for each semester of nursing.
