Kevin Barda has been the cross country coach at VVC since Fall 1998. In that time he has produced 3 individual Foothill Conference Champions and 2 Foothill Conference Championship teams, twice being named the Foothill Conference Coach of the Year. In track and field he has also guided his athletes to numerous individual Foothill Conference titles.

Coach Barda was all NCAA All-Region athlete in college while cmopeting for Grand Canyon University. He is still an avid competitor and has recently been part of three National Cross Country Championship teams while competing on the Fluffy Bunny Track Club/Compex Racing masters cross country team.

Coach Barda's other sport of interest is motocross racing.

Amy Lange - Assistant Coach

Amy is a former Rams athlete. While competing for VVC she was the runner up at the Foothill Conference Championships. She twice qualified for state championships. She was also the school record holder at Sultana High in the 100 and 200 meter events.

She is married to Josh Lange, himself a former VVC XC athlete, who she has two children with.
