Christa J. White

Head Coach, 10th year

Coach White graduated from Texas Tech University and was a Division I Volleyball Scholarship Athlete with two All-Southwest Conference First Team Selection Honors.  She has an overall combined coaching record of 252-93  with 4 High School League Championships and 4 College Conference Championships.  She is a United States Volleyball Association  Level II Certified Coach and coached 5 years with  Higher Power Volleyball Club coaching 14-18's teams with a top 40 finish in the 18's and 14's at the Sacramento Volleyball Festival as well as a divisional championship in the 16's division.  She is the owner and director of the White Lightning Volleyball Club, whose 18's team finished 47th in SCVA and 29th in the Reno Festival 2005.  Last year at VVC she lead the Rams to a 2nd place finish with a 12-6 record in the Foothill Conference.  She is a 5 time Coach of the Year recipient. (1997, 98, 99, 2001, 2003)  Coach White has served as the President for the CCCWVCA and is a C-1 rated CIF volleyball official. 

Nicole Koester

Assistant Coach, 2nd year

Coach Koester is a former VVC volleyball player, who completed her collegiate career at William Penn University in Iowa.  She returned home and worked for the White Lightning Volleyball Club as a coach in the 16's division.  Coach Koester brings enthusiasm and a desire to pass on what she has learned to the new players at VVC.
