NEWS/UPDATE : Nov. 24th, 2008 : Sary Macy, Courtney Eagle, Anna Flores, Brittnie Bernardino & Teresa Candelario (VVC Alumni) all went on to play soccer at Kansas Wesleyan University. Recently, this group was part of a program that was the KCAC Conference Championship Team (Record: 9-0-1 : UNDEFEATED), and they were also the KCAC Tournament Champions (Record: 2-0 : UNDEFEATED IN THE TOURNAMENT). The National Tournament (1st round) was in McKendree, Illinois on November 22nd (awaiting results), and the 2nd round will be played in Daytona, Florida from November 28th - December 6th.

COACH'S BIO:
Mike Bradbury has in combination played, refereed, and coached soccer for the last 34 years. His soccer career started in England at age 4. His father, a military man, was stationed In England and Greece while he was a young boy. Growing up playing soccer in Countries were it is a national past time has greatly influenced his style and respect for the World's Greatest Game!
Bradbury played soccer in the Hi-Desert during the mid to late 80's. He graduated from Apple Valley (During an era when Apple Valley Boy's High school Soccer won an incredible 9 consecutive San Andreas League Championships) High school in 1989 after a successful baseball and soccer career. He attended Victor Valley College from 1989-1991 and played both baseball and soccer. In 1992 Bradbury joined the United States Marine Corps and served his country for 4 years. In 1996, with his Honorable Discharge in hand, he joined the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department where he works and patrols to this day assigned to the contract city of Apple Valley.
Bradbury, currently the Men's & Women's Soccer Head Coach at Victor Valley College and Granite Hills High School (Girl's Soccer) has a noteworthy track record and coaching career. He has led his high school program to 7 League Championships in 9 years, a CIF Southern Section Championship in 2006, CIF Runner-Up in 2008 and 2009, State Regional Runner-Up 2008 and State Semi Finalist in 2009. He has been awarded "Coach of the Year" at both the High School and Collegiate level.
Coach Bradbury's commitment to excellence is unparalleled. His programs are recognized by universities around the country. He has successfully placed both High School and VVC College players on scholarship at universities across America. It is his mission "To facilitate a college experience that leads to an education which is fueled and paid for by soccer."
Bradbury graduated from VVC with an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice, and is living proof that a post- high school career can be very rewarding and successful. Bradbury also holds a NSCAA National License.
