COACH PROFILE: Kara Jenkins

Coach Jenkins is a recent graduate of Cal State San Bernardino where she earned two degrees in Business Administration and Sports Marketing. She began playing tennis right before the start of her freshman year of high school at Granite Hills under Coach Pat Jenkins, her father. Her love of the sport never waned. At Granite Hills High School she was her team’s MVP twice and made All-League and First Team All-Area three times. She attended Cal State San Bernardino on a tennis scholarship and was a stand-out student-athlete both on and off the court. Jenkins volunteers every year for the Disability Sports Festival held at CSUSB, helping the physically and mentally disabled play her favorite sport.

This is Coach Jenkins’ first year coaching and she plans on being part of the VVC family for years to come. She strongly believes in recruiting local talent and knows the Lady Rams will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
