Mr. Rowland is one of the full time instructors at Victor Valley College.

Dan has over 20 years of experience in the automotive repair business, he has been a repair technician in all facets in the business, including suspension alignment tech., brake tech., automotive machinist, air conditioning tech., and a repair shop foreman, and shop manager.

Mr. Rowland served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years, where he acquired basic mechanical, electrical, and electronic training, as a Missile technician aboard a Submarine. Dan attended Victor Valley College and received his Associates degree in 1987. He continued his education at Cal State University, San Bernardino and received a Baccalaureates degree in Vocational Education in 1998.
Mr. Rowland is certified as follows:
- Master Automotive certified ASE Technician,
- Master Machinist ASE Technician,
- Master Medium and Heavy Truck Technician,
- Master Bus Technician.
He also holds the following ASE certifications:
- Advanced Engine Performance,
- Alternative Fuel,
- Under Car Specialists,
- Automotive Service Consultant,
- Automobile Parts Specialists.

Dan attends NHRA Drag racing events occasionally racing his Pro street 71 camaro (pictured below).
