The hours for the Language Lab vary each semester and are posted on the door at Liberal Arts Building 11.

The Chair of the Foreign Language Department and of the VVC Language Lab is Claudia Basha.  William Nickerson is our full-time Language Lab Instructional Assistant and he is available to help students in the operation of the equipment in the lab.

Our multimedia Language Lab includes 30 networked computers with digitized sound and system.  The control console is available for instructors to design and develop interactive lessons.  CD-ROM recording is also possible and students have access to the Internet.  The RamTrack student ID system keeps a record of student usage and attendance of the lab.  In the lab, students have the opportunity to receive additional language practice outside the classroom, and can therefore improve their language proficiency skills.
