GERM 101 ELEMENTARY GERMAN (5.0 Units)
Inductive presentation of German language fundamentals: pronunciation, structure, simple composition, culture. Emphasis placed on using and understanding the spoken language. Five lecture hours per week.CSU, UC (No prerequisite)

GERM 102 ELEMENTARY GERMAN (5.0 Units)
Continuation of German 1 stressing review of basic structures, introduction of more advanced grammar, spoken and written communication in authentic cultural contexts. Five lecture hours per week. CSU, UC (Prerequisite: GERM 101 or equivalent)
