INTERNATIONAL STUDIES @ VVC
Victor Valley College is dedicated to the concept of an internationally based education. The college supports the development of a curriculum that includes the infusion of a global dimension throughout all subject areas to prepare our students for success in the global community.
The International Studies Program gives foreign exchange students the opportunity for quality cross-cultural academic experiences. Visiting students will be able to take advantage of 2-3 week theme programs, or eventually be offered academic credit for semester classes in through agreements with our sister universities located in the People’s Republic of China.
Through our Study Abroad Program, students will have the opportunity for quality cross-cultural academic experiences. Students will be able to take advantage of 2-3 week exchange programs, or eventually be offered academic credit for semester classes in sister universities located in the People’s Republic of China.
Our long-term goal is to create an International Center that will organize orientation classes, counseling and community activities for VVC students coming from other countries. The Center should also contribute to the international dimension of the campus by presenting resource speakers from the United States and abroad who address current world issues.
