ENROLLMENT
PROCESS
After
the prerequisites have been verified and there are still
too many students for the spaces available,
the accepted students will meet the following enrollment
criteria: (Steps 1, 2, 3, & 4 will be used, in order,
AS NEEDED.)
*After
this step is done, if the total number of students accepted
is under the designated allotment for the program, additional
accepted students will be randomly drawn from the applications
eliminated at that step until the designated allotment
is reached.

For further clarification, it is recommended
that all potential nursing majors make an appointment to
speak with the nursing counselor, Diane Wollan, to develop
an educational plan. Please call 245-4271, Ext. 2296 to
make an appointment.
THIS ENROLLMENT PROCESS IS BASED ON THE Recommended
Best Practice For Enrollment, prepared by the Chancellor’s
Office Of The California Community Colleges, and approved
by The Chancellor’s Office.
NURSING PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT
It is anticipated that there may be a change
in the selection criteria (Enrollment Process). Currently,
the college is conducting an ongoing study. When the results
of this study are reviewed, the established criteria may
effect enrollment into the Nursing Program. Every attempt
will be made to communicate the change, within a reasonable
timeframe, when all decisions are finalized and approvals
for implementation are received.
