ˇHola!
My
name is Martha Vilá, and I am a native of Colombia, South America.
I've
been teaching at Victor Valley College since 1998. I have
taught all levels of Spanish at the community college and university
level since 1980.
As
an instructor, my goals are to help students with the acquisition
or improvement of their Spanish communicative skills, as well as
to promote their understanding and appreciation for the Hispanic
cultures.
Currently,
I am a candidate for the Ph.D. Program in Contemporary Latin American
Literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
(I promise I will never encourage my students to call me Doctor).
