The Admissions and Records Office is where you’ll start and finish your educational journey at VVC. Whether you are preparing for transfer to a four-year college or university, seeking an Associate degree or certificate, taking classes to improve skills, or explore a new career, we are here to help you. Our staff is committed to providing professional, timely, student-centered customer service to simplify the admissions, registration, and records processes.

Summer/Fall 2022 Registration Dates  
Block 1 Monday, May 9 through the Sunday before each semester begins Member of the Armed Forces (must provide copy of orders to Admissions and Records); Military Veterans (must provide copy of DD214 to Admissions and Records); Homeless Youth/ Foster Youth/ Former Foster Youth; EOPS students / ACCESS students; CalWORKS Students
Block 2A Wednesday, May 11 through the Sunday before each semester begins Students with 45-90 units completed at VVC and students with more than 90.0 units completed at VVC
with an approved petition
Block 2B Friday, May 13 through the Sunday before each semester begins Spouses of Disabled Veterans; ASB Council Members; Work Study Students; Active Phi Theta Kappa Members; Student Athletes; Qualified 2022 K-16 Bridge High School graduates (Fall semester only); Trio/UB Cohort; Active PACE Students and First Year Student Equity Cohort Groups
Block 3A Monday, May 16 through the Sunday before each semester begins

Students with 30-44.5 units completed at VVC;

Continuing Student =currently enrolled at VVC

Block 3B Wednesday, May 18 through the Sunday before each semester begins

Students with 15 – 29.5 units completed at VVC

Continuing Student =currently enrolled at VVC

Block 3C Friday, May 20 through the Sunday before each semester begins

Students with 0 – 14.5 units completed at VVC

Block 6 Friday, May 27 through the Sunday before each semester begins Students not fully matriculated (has not completed orientation, a placement survey or developed an education plan); Students not in good standing (e.g., academic and/or progress probation for two consecutive semesters); Students with more than ninety (90) degree-applicable units earned at VVC






Starting with the Fall 2021 diplomas, Victor Valley College has partnered with Parchment to print and mail physical diplomas and high unit certificates to students. In addition to the printed diploma and certificate, you will be able to obtain a digital diploma or certificate. * Low unit certificates will only receive a digital copy. You will receive an email from Parchment to create an account and retrieve your diploma and/or certificate. Diplomas and high unit certificates will be mailed to you within 12-16 weeks after the appropriate filing period. Only one diploma (per major) will be provided to you at no cost. If you graduated with more than one major, you will receive a separate diploma for each major. It will also state if you graduated with honors.

**Emails for the issued certificates began this week. Diploma emails will being in the next two weeks.

DIPLOMAS prior to Fall 2021

Diplomas can be picked up in the Admissions & Records office located in the Student Services (OneStop), building 23. Please be prepared to show a picture ID when you arrive as we cannot release your diploma without it. If you would like to designate someone to pick up your diploma for you, they will need a copy of your photo ID as well as a statement signed by you, permitting them to pick up the diploma. 

Hours for pick up:

Monday -Thursday, 8:00am – 6:45pm

Friday, 8:00am – 4:15pm

If you have moved out of the high desert need to have your diploma mailed to you, please confirm your mailing address and submit a photo ID by completing this form.

  • Spring (June) 2023 until March 5, 2023
