CAREER SERVICES
The staff will be glad to help you explore your career goal by using the Eureka program. The software is multifaceted career information program based on California labor market information. It includes particulars on careers, educational programs, sources of financial aid, and job search methods.
Resource List:
Career Files: an extensive resource files that contain specific career information from business, companies, associations, organizations, and government agencies.
Books: Specific career fields, career planning, resumes, entrance exams, directories, and self-help books.
Career Briefs Kit: contains 200 job descriptions with qualifications and employment outlook.
O-Net (or Dictionary of Occupational titles: D.O.T.): A complete guide to occupational classification and definitions
Enhanced Guide to Occupational Exploration (G.O.E.): Traits, characteristics and other requirements for occupations.
Vocational Biographies: First person reports on the day-to-day activities involved for over 800 occupations

TRANSFER PLANNING
The Victor Valley College Counselor in the Counseling Department Buildling-55 is prepared to assist you in planning and articulating the requirement to transfer to the College and University of your choice. - Most of California's public and private college catalogs are available for checkout.
- University of California and California State University on-line application process is available.
- Reference materials for information, costs, majors, housing, and other resources available.
- Articulation Agreements with several four-year institutions using Assist.
- Guaranteed Admissions Contracts with California State University, San Bernardino.
- Transfer Admissions Guarantee agreements with the University of California, Riverside.
WebAdvisor System
- Students may come in and use the WebAdvisor System for Admission applications, grades, unofficial transcripts, add/drop classes, Financial Aid award letters and making payments of fees online.
