EOPS is the first step on your journey to becoming a successful student at Victor Valley College. Success can come in a variety of forms, but no matter your definition of success, my goal is to help you unlock your potential. As a counselor, I will do this by developing a balanced educational plan that fits your individual needs. and help you find resources that will maximize your college experience. I am here to encourage, motivate, support, and help you to overcome any obstacles or challenges that may be hindering you. Your success is my number one priority, and I look forward to supporting your educational goals.
Being a former student here at Victor Valley College, I know first-hand the support each student receives from the moment you walk through our doors. Some key points I would like to share are to always be prepared for each challenge coming your way. Second, set goals that realistically obtainable. Lastly, surround yourself with positive and encouraging individuals. This will challenge your intellect and support each dream you have towards success. Welcome to E.O.P.S.! E.O.P.S. is a special support services program. We believe that every person who walks through our office doors is already a winner. We provide academic guidance, book service, priority registration, and more! As a counselor, I will help you in your quest to achieve your goals. Victor Valley College offers vocational certificates, associate degrees, and the opportunity to transfer to a four year university. It will be my focus to inform you of the appropriate classes that move you forward towards your stated goals. Our belief is that anything you put your effort toward, you can achieve. The ultimate goal is to realize your potential and to understand where it can take you in life. I will help you explore your career ideas and assist in making the best decision for you. So step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to grow as a person and most importantly, as a professional.
