PRACTICE PRACITICAL
This
CD-ROM accompanies the text book Experiencing the World's
Religions by M. Molloy, which has been adopted for
the Religious Studies 10 course.
This
program covers many religions of the world, and can be
a very helpful guide. There are a total of eleven religions
covered including: Understanding Religion, Oral Religions,
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, Taoism and Confucianism,
Shinto, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Religious Search-Modern
World.
Each
of these chapters contain eight activities associated with
the chosen religion. These include mini lecture, true and
false testing, multiple choice testing, gallery of images,
guided tours, key terms, fill in the blank testing, and
even flash cards to help one memorize key terms. After
a test, the student can choose to see the errors that he/she
made, and is also given the option to print this list that
includes the page number (in the text) of the mistakes
that the student made.
