Short Term Objectives:  

·     To plan and implement a revised curriculum that includes a clinical lab for students.

·     To assess and plan the technological needs of the RN program.

Long Term Objectives:  

·     To evaluate the clinical, theoretical component, and employability of graduates.

·     To have a technological based instructional program for self-paced learning and classroom instruction.

·     To implement a preceptorship program.

Resources Required - Short Term:  

Personnel  

·     Part-time faculty to meet the BRN recommended skills lab practice.

Facilities/Equipment  

·     Skills lab with additional bed capacity and space for nursing students.

·     Equipment equivalent to current medical and nursing practice.

Other Requirements  

·     Smart Cart for PowerPoint.

Professional Development  

·     Faculty training in current technological delivery methods.

·     Training courses in content.

Resources Required - Long Term:

·     Full-time to student ratio (approx. 1:15).
