Overall Facilities Requirements

1.            Overview

This chapter represents the overall facilities requirements of the District for the time period defined by this educational master plan.  The requirements and planning described in this narrative have been shaped, in large measure, by the District’s long-range vision for a facilities infrastructure and by the facilities needs identified by faculty and staff in earlier chapters of this volume.  In addition, the following plan is, in part, dictated by the district’s own ability to finance facility needs, and the impact of miscellaneous state funding, such as scheduled maintenance, to keep existing facilities current in fulfilling the district’s academic mission and commitment.
