Open Forum on Goal Setting for the Integrated Master Plan Draws Large Crowd

A campus-wide gathering of faculty, staff, board members, and students participated in an open forum for goal setting for the Integrated Master Plan. In a collaborative effort, participants reviewed college goals and objectives and provided lively dialogue into the process.

This forum is one of many steps the college has taken to align goals and objectives with its revised mission statement and accreditation themes. By combining all segments of the planning process into an integrated master plan, the college will produce a single document that will drive all future decisions.

As part of the ongoing development process, members of the community will be invited to participate in upcoming sessions.

New Event Added To PAC Schedule

Two Sichuan’s Art performances from China have been added to the schedule of events at the Performing Arts Center. This event is scheduled for February 13, and 14, 2004, at 7:30 p.m.

This art form is virtually unknown to American audiences. Stories are told by shadow puppets, Kung Fu, mask-changing, finger puppets and large wooden puppets. This is culture handed down for generations in China and rarely seen in the United States.

Stories told by the puppets and masks make this an unforgettable family entertainment experience. Tickets are available by calling the college ticket office at 760-245-4271, Ext. 849.
