Campus police alerts

VVC holds art exhibit

And, as always, call the Campus Police at extension 2329 or the emergency after-hours number at extension 2555 if you have any doubts or concerns.

-- All of the campus police officers are First Aid, CPR and AED certified. Our department updates this training every year. Until March we did not have an AED (Automated External Defilbrillator). But thanks to Maintenance and Operations Director Steve Garcia, we now have two. This greatly improves the chances of saving a life if the need arises.

-- Our officers recently observed two small children playing around the lake. No adults were with these children. One of our officers made contact with the children and obtained information that the mother was at Student Services.
Our officers directed the children to get away from the lake and go with their mother.
If anyone observes unattended children anywhere on campus, call the campus police immediately at extension 2555, because child neglect is a crime.
