Program Application:
The Upward Bound Program accepts applications from students at our target high schools: Hesperia, Silverado, and Victor Valley. Program application(s) can be picked up at Victor Valley College or our target high school sites during after-school tutoring sessions. Please see after-school tutoring schedule for current days and times.
Prospective Program Participant's Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 13 years old and in 9th or 10th grade.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S.
- Must be from a low-income family (according to Federal TRiO Program levels) - OR -
- Must be a first generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree) - OR -
- Must have a need for academic support.
