The Academic Commons provides access to multiple resources and departments. Offices for CIS, BET, and Business Administration faculty are located in this facility.

We provide:

	Open Computer Lab Software support for Business Education Technology (BET) and Computer Information Systems (CIS) classes. Access to software for numerous other courses offered at VVC including the Internet for class-related purposes.
	Business Education Technology (BET) Classrooms and computer lab support.
	Computer Information Systems (CIS) Classrooms and computer lab support.

Note: Instructors requesting software to be available for student use in the classrooms AC1, AC2, AC3, AC4, HP3, BU5, or on the computer lab floor, must read the Guideline instructions and submit a Software Installation Request Form.

	Supplemental Instruction and Tutoring Supplemental Instruction and Tutoring (SI/T) provides tutoring in a range of formats to accommodate students' various needs.
	Allied Health Lab. Software and testing for nursing, anatomy, respiratory therapy, paramedics, and medical office procedures.
	Cooperative Education Cooperative Education enables students to relate education to real work environments through a learning while earning program.
	Illness/Absence Testing Faculty who want to provide make-up testing opportunities for students who have been ill or absent may make arrangements with Classified personnel in the Academic Commons. Dates and times for proctoring will be made available at the beginning of every semester and are subject to change. Students can test during scheduled times with authorized proctor ONLY! Instructors must fill out ONLINE FORM and submit with each test / exam request.
