Welcome to Instructional Media Services
Instructional Media Services primary role is to provide in classroom technology to help facilitate the delivery of educational material to the students of Victor Valley College. We help to plan, design, install, maintain, train and support classroom technology on all VVC campus locations (VVC Main Campus, Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA), Regional Public Safety Training Center (RPSTC) and Hesperia High School.)
IMS also offers some equipment for check out to support educational activities off campus. Supplies of equipment are limited and can only be checked out by full time employees. As of now Administrative Procedure 6520 does not allow part time employees, which includes adjunct, to check out equipment. IMS has a limited supply of laptops, data projectors, and sound equipment for check out. The request to use equipment must be approved by Director/Dean or higher. Please refer to AP 6520 for the process.
IMS does video recording for campus activities and can produce DVDs of the activities.
IMS also handles all request for audio equipment outside of the Performing Arts Center. This includes portable sound systems, etc.
