  • Lead learning outcomes assessment--at the course, program, and institutional levels, and assessment of service outcomes where appropriate.
  • Work collegially with the faculty, staff, students and the Board of Trustees to ensure that the College continues to address ACCJC Standards.
  • Focus on continuous quality improvement throughout the District.
  • Provide active leadership in support of the resource development for the District, through the work of the Victor Valley College Foundation and its President’s Circle, as well as other fund raising and partnership initiatives in the service area.
  • In cooperation with the Vice-Presidents and other constituent group leaders of the College, develop and implement a long-term strategic financial plan that does not rely on invasion of the District’s reserves.
  • Evaluate the structure of the organization in optimizing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead the college in the development and implementation of new programs that address the unique workforce development needs of the community.
  • Identify and implement enrollment management strategies that result in enrollment growth and serve a wide variety of constituents in all the communities served by the college.
  • Provide active leadership in the development of the college’s next educational master plan that offers a vision for the next five years and beyond.
