The Victor Valley
College Board of Trustees announced the selection of
Dr. Louis E. Zellers to serve as the Interim Superintendent/President
for the college. Dr. Zellers began his administrative
career as the chief financial officer at Clark College,
Vancouver, Washington.
He comes to VVC after
serving as the superintendent/president of Citrus College
from 1985 to 2003. Prior to this service, Dr. Zellers
held the position of president at Modesto Jr. College
from 1981 through 1985. His previous professional experience
includes teaching economics at Clark College and Boise
State University.
Dr. Zellers received
his B.S. degree from Purdue University in agricultural
economics, an M.B.A. from Indiana University, and a
doctorate in education from Brigham Young University.
Dr. Zellers takes
on the duties of the position beginning Monday, August
21, 2006.
