The Victor Valley
College Theatre Department posted a call for auditions
today for the Winter Session
rock musical, TOMMY for Monday, November 20, and Tuesday,
November 21, at Silverado High School’s Performing
Arts Center at 7 p.m. Students and any interested members
of the community are invited to take part in this very
complex and challenging show.
The show will be directed by Dr. Freddie Gold who formerly
directed Man of La Mancha for VVC. The production features
Dave Graham as Musical Director and David Rodriguez as
Choreographer.
The production presents the opportunity for 30 to 35
people to become involved in the show. Two of the roles
call for boys between the ages 7 or 8 and 10 to 12 years
old.

People, who plan to audition for a role in the musical
must dress comfortably and wear shoes that allow for
movement.
Participants must also be prepared to sing 30 seconds of any song, and bring
sheet music for the pianist if they want to be accompanied.
