Spring Admission Applications accepted

November 15 – February 8

Block 1   Registration for EOPS/DSPS Students

FACTS e-cashier availability for Spring

Block 2   Priority registration for ASB Council Members, Work Study Students, Student Athletes, PTK Members, Military Veterans (if not receiving veteran benefits, must provide copy of DD214)

Block 3   Priority registration for Continuing Students

December 6  -  February 8

Block 4   Registration for New/Returning Students who have completed assessment and advisement/orientation by November 21 and students with more than 90 units completed at VVC

Block 5   Registration for all other students (New/Transfer)

Block 6   Registration for concurrently enrolled K-12 students

Holiday break (offices closed)

Last day to process Winter book refunds and exchanges

Martin Luther King Holiday (no classes, campus closed)

January 26

Last day registration receipts and parking permits will be mailed.  After this date, parking permits and registration receipts must be picked up at the Bursar’s office

The following offices are open for Saturday services (Admission & Records, Financial Aid, Bursar’s Office, Assessment and Counseling)

February 11

Spring 2008 semester begins (instructor permission required to add 1st 8-week classes)

February 11 – 14

Spring Open Book buyback  - Student Activities Center

February 15

Lincoln Day Holiday (no classes, campus closed)

February 16

No Saturday classes held

February 18

Washington’s Day Holiday (no classes, campus closed)

February 19

Instructor permission required to add 16-week classes

February 23

Last day to add a 1st 8-week class with instructor permission

February 23

Late add petition required to enroll in a 1st 8-week class

February 27

Last day to process Spring book refunds and exchanges

Last day to drop a 16-week length class and be eligible to apply for a refund
Courses other than 16-week length classes have varied dates for refunds and “W” grades

March 1

Last day to add a 16-week class with instructor permission

March 3

Late add petition required to enroll in a 16-week class

March 4

Last day to drop a 16-week class without receiving a “W” grade

March 21

Last day to submit a CR/NC grade option for 16-week classes

* Students will have five (5) working days from the date of enrollment to pay fees in full or enroll in a payment plan through FACTS e-Cashier.  No parking permit will be issued unless one of the above requirements is met.  Additionally, students that have debts from previous terms will be blocked from enrolling until the debt is paid.
