- Q: Will I need to pay back Financial Aid if I withdraw due to Covid-19?
A: Students will not need to payback grants if they withdraw or drop classes under the EW status, due to Covid-19. Students who withdraw or drop under any other status may still be reviewed for overpayment.
- Q: Will I be disqualified from Financial Aid if I withdraw from school or drop classes?
A: If students withdraw or drop classes due to Covid-19, those grades must be under the EW status in order to be excluded from Satisfactory Academic Progress. Any other status will be included in SAP.
- Q: I heard there is additional Financial Aid Grants for students? What is that?
A: The CARES Act Stimulus Bill provides emergency grant funding to students affected by Covid-19. Currently VVC is in the process of awarding and providing an application for this emergency funding. More information can be found at www.vvc.edu.
- Q: If I retake classes can I still receive Financial Aid for those repeats?
A: Yes. Students are allowed funding for a second repeat for a previously passed class.
