Basic food preparation and techniques, as well as an understanding of nutrition, sanitation, and safety are introduced as the fundamentals for an educational foundation of more specialized and advanced skills.
The Restaurant Management Department recently developed a set of courses that offers specialized training for specific job requirements.
These Classes:
  • 4.5 units each
  • Open entry, open exit
  • Can enroll at any time
  • 6, 8, 12 week schedules
  • 4 hours lecture per week
  • Up to 26 hours of lab per week
