Directed Learning Activities (DLAs) are faculty-designed exercises that provide students support in key writing and reading concepts. They require a short time limit to complete and require a follow-up session with a tutor after completion. DLA's can be picked up and/or completed in the writing center, and they are also now available online as fillable PDFs. Come into the writing center or schedule an online appointment for the follow-up session with a tutor.
How to access the DLAs online:

Click on the “Tutoring and Academic Support: Acad101” tile

Click on “Modules” located on the left

Scroll down and click on “DLAs” underneath “Writing Center”

Click the arrow next to the DLA you wish to complete to download the fillable PDF
