EMR Orientation Information

Emergency Medical Responder Program (EMS 50)
The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their ability to provide assistance to the community in times of crisis and improve personal preparedness. Offered as course EMS 50, this class has no age requirement and covers essential skills such as the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support Provider course, making it an ideal option for high school students who do not yet meet the age threshold for EMT certification.
EMR Students will be enrolled in EMS 041 A & B which include the AHA BLS Support Provider essentials.

Emergency Medical Responder Program (EMS 50) 

EMS 50 is designed to equip students for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course upon program completion. No Prerequisites required.

Course: EMS 50

Length of Program: 8 weeks

Tuition: Non-Credit

Fees will apply for the EMC 041 A & B which are part of this class and will be approximately $ 41.00.

Costs of books and supplies: Approximately $ 200.00

In order to successfully complete EMS 50 the attendance/completion of course EMC 041 A & B is mandatory!
