How can I help to stop the spread of COVID-19? 

Make sure to fill out the VVC health screener every time you visit campus. This helps us track symptoms and conduct contact tracing when necessary. This link for this can be found at vvcsafe.vvc.edu

 

Am I required to have a COVID-19 vaccination in order to attend Victor Valley College?

Not at this time.

 

Does Victor Valley College offer COVID-19 testing for students?

Yes, we are partnered with the County of San Bernardino. The County of San Bernardino has a COVID-19 testing site on our lower main campus that is available at no cost to all VVC employees and accessible Mondays through Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. To make an appointment please visit the link below:

I am a Victor Valley College student. What happens if I test positive for COVID-19?

You will be placed on a 10-day quarantine, and will be called in order to help us conduct contact tracing. 

 

I am a student and was in close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. What happens now?

You will need to communicate with our COVID risk manager, Benjamin Lehan. He will determine the next steps. You will likely be placed on a 10-day quarantine.

 

Am I going to be removed from my courses for any COVID related absences?

No. Make sure to communicate with your instructor regarding all COVID related quarantines and absences, and ask what is required of you during your quarantine.
