COVID UPDATE _ Mandatory self declaration

ATTENTION: All Students, Employees, and Guests visiting the campus must complete the Self Declaration form upon arriving to campus. Victor Valley College is planning for a full return of students in fall.

*** We all have a responsibility to keep our community safe. Prior to coming to campus, all participants must complete a Health Screener which is be located on the MyVVC site, under the VVC SAFE application.  This health screener must be done each day prior to entering the campus.  The Health Screener is a valuable tool to help decrease our chances of exposure to COVID-19, and help us contact trace cases when they arise.

You can fill out the self-declaration in your phone’s browser here: https://vvcsafe.vvc.edu/.

3. Accommodation Protocol

If you are requesting a reasonable accommodation of not wearing a mask, there are protocols required for consideration:

  • Documentation from a medical professional is required, verifying you are unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition.

  • After you receive the medical documentation, please email ACCESS@vvc.edu, visit the ACCESS office in building 23, or call 760-245-4271 ext. 2212 to schedule an appointment with an ACCESS counselor, to discuss reasonable accommodation.

4. COVID Testing Site

Do you have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath? If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, it’s best to get tested.  The County of San Bernardino has a COVID-19 testing site on our lower main campus that is available at no cost to all VVC employees and accessible Mondays through Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. These are by appointment only.
