Noncredit Registration

This page will explain the process for registering as a noncredit student at Victor Valley College.

Noncredit Registration-Current VVC Students

If you are a current VVC student, you may register for Noncredit classes using Self Service.

Some noncredit classes do not follow the traditional registration dates.

 

Noncredit Application-New Students

If you are not a current VVC student, you may apply using the following steps:

1. Apply to VVC by click on the APPLY button at the top right of the main page www.vvc.edu

2.  Click on Create Your Account.

3.  You will be asked for your mobile phone number or email address.  Once entered, it will send you a message with a security code that you will need to enter on the next screen. This is used to verify that your email/phone number is correct.

4.  Enter the security code and verify the code by clicking on the grey box.

5.  You will be asked to create a profile with identification information.  Continue through each section and complete the profile.

6.  Write down the CCCID at the top right of the screen.  This number will be used for your noncredit application.  

If you are only planning to take a noncredit class. You may now sign out and continue to the Noncredit Application below.

If you are planning to take "credit" classes from another program, you will want to continue to use this application for that purpose.

7.  Complete the Non Credit application:

Once all sections are completed, submit the form.

You will receive a Welcome Email with a VVC ID in 24-48 hours.  

       

 

 

 

Noncredit Registration

Now that you have a VVC ID # you can register for a noncredit class.  This can be done in one of two ways.

You may use the Non Credit Registration Form (this is simpler, but takes more time to process), OR, you may use Self Service (the best way)

Using the Noncredit Registration Form

1.  Click the link to the form. Non-Credit Registration Form

 Enter your VVC ID that you received in the email "Welcome to VVC."

2.  Enter the section number for the class, and the course title as directed. You will only need an authorization code if the class has started.

3. After completing the information, sign the form and submit.

It is recommended that you let us know when the form is completed.

 

 

 

 

Using Self Service for Registration

1.  Go to vvc.edu and click on MyVVC and log in with the Username and Password sent to you when you registered.

2.  Go to Self Service portal.

2.  From this screen choose "Student Planning."

3.  Under Plan and Degree, choose "Go to Plan and Schedule."

4.  Choose the Term and put the subject in the search engine.
