Program & Accreditation Information

The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is intended for those desiring a level of readiness to assist the community during times of disaster, as well as personal preparedness.

This course (EMS 50) is a Non-Credit Class that has no age minimum prerequisite and also includes the American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider CPR course as well as other lifesaving skills. This course is well-designed for high-school students that do not yet meet the age minimum for EMT.

The thought skills & material help students gain a good knowledge and basics for the EMS 60 course, and/or the first responder careers in general.

The Emergency Medical Responder program is approved / accredited by the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Services Agency (ICEMA).

Current student material fees for EMR students are $ 41.00 for the AHA BLS Provider and approx. $ 250.00 for book and uniform.

All material fees need to be paid before day 1 of class.
