Program & Accreditation Information

The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is intended for those desiring a level of readiness to assist the community during times of disaster, as well as personal preparedness.

This course (EMS 50) is a 2.5 unit class that has no age minimum prerequisite and also includes the American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider CPR course as well as other lifesaving skills. This course is well-designed for high-school students that do not yet meet the age minimum for EMT.

The Emergency Medical Responder program is approved / accredited by the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Services Agency (ICEMA).

For the entire school year of 2021/2022 all students qualify for the college for free waiver, only student material fees will need to be paid.
