Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a scholarship?
A scholarship is a gift you don’t have to pay back, awarded to students for their hard work and academic achievements. It doesn’t affect your financial aid and is a way to help cover educational expenses.
What types of scholarships are available, and how do I find them?
There are many scholarships available. We match you with the one that best fits your academic achievements, extracurriculars, and major.
How will I be notified if I am awarded a scholarship, and what are the next steps?
You will be notified about your scholarship status via the scholarship portal from the end of May through the beginning of June. Recipients are required to attend a mandatory, in-person scholarship ceremony on June 17, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
If awarded, how will I receive my scholarship funds?
At the start of the semester, the scholarship amount will be credited to your bursar account, and any outstanding payments will be deducted. The Bursar Office will verify your enrollment and ensure you meet all scholarship requirements after the drop deadline for the semester. Any remaining funds will be sent as a physical check to your address on file. Ensure your address is up to date on your student portal.
