Welcome to the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) Engagement Center! We are committed to transforming students through life-changing engagement experiences. Students can visit the center to engage with peers, connect with resources and a network of services. 

What can you find at the HASS Student Engagement Center?

  • Campus Resources & Support Services: Get the help you need with special programs, educational planning, and career exploration.
  • Tech Assistance: Need help with class registration on Self-Services, setting up your student email, or getting your student ID? We've got you covered.
  • Career Exploration: Join workshops, industry tours, and more to explore your future career path.
  • Social & Study Space: Meet peers, join study groups, hold club meetings, or just relax in a welcoming environment.
  • Student Success Workshops: Check the schedule below for workshops designed to help you thrive. Attend 3 or more, and you'll be entered to win a $50 raffle!
  • Major Meetups: During the second and third week of classes, connect with fellow students in your major. Food and refreshments will be provided — flyer below with more details.
  • Free HASS T-Shirt: Drop by the center during the first week of classes to say hi and grab a free HASS t-shirt!

If you’re looking to connect with a mentor who shares your professional aspirations, our new MentorMatch program is for you. Mentors will offer advice, insights, and possibly job shadowing opportunities. Meetings are flexible and can be virtual, by phone, or in person. Interested? Register here
