Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee (SLOAC)
The Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee (SLOAC), a subcommittee of the Academic Senate, upholds the principles of academic freedom and is responsible for: developing campus policies regarding Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs); offering guidance and support to faculty and the broader campus community in creating learning outcomes for courses, programs, and the institution; reviewing SLOs, PLOs, and ILOs to maintain consistent, high standards for assessment; and evaluating assessment policies to ensure alignment with program review, College planning, budgeting, and compliance with accreditation standards and educational policies and processes.
