Completion of 60 UC Transferrable Units
To apply as a junior-level transfer applicant, students should complete a minimum of 60 semester UC-transferrable units with at least a 2.4 GPA (2.8 for CA non-residents).

However, some campuses and/or majors may require a higher UC-transferrable GPA for admission selection. Earning a higher GPA can help you be a more competitive applicant.

To prepare for your desired major at any of the nine undergraduate UC campuses, students should complete lower-division major preparation coursework prior to transferring. Meet with a counselor to develop your transfer plan.
