DONELL THOMAS - Head Coach

Coach Thomas has experience as an assistant coach at the community college level and six years coaching experience at the high school level. She has also volunteered with little league softball from major girls to senior girls, volunteered coaching youth soccer and coaching experience with high school volleyball and basketball. She teaches middle school physical education but is also continuing her education to obtain a PPS credential. Coach Thomas is a member of the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches' Association) and is a 1 Star Master Coach in the National Fastpitch Coaches College and plans to continue on to earn 4 Star Master Coaching Status with the NFCA.

The current goal for Victor Valley College is to strengthen the program by attracting local talent to continue their education by playing softball at VVC. With so much growth in the high desert, the time has come for VVC softball to become a force in the Foothill Conference. We owe it to the community to solidify the program and give young women a chance to play at the junior college level and move along with their college careers academically as well as athletically.
