ABOUT Phi Theta Kappa : Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society specifically for 2 year colleges. Alpha Phi Gamma, the Victor Valley College chapter, was chartered in February 1992 and has enjoyed a steady growth of membership. As an honor society, Phi Theta Kappa encourages academic scholarship by providing an opportunity to develop leadership skills. Phi Theta Kappa members graduate wearing a special honor society stole at commencement exercises and have their transcripts marked with the Phi Theta Kappa seal. Phi Theta Kappa membership is by invitation only to those who qualify.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS : To join the Alpha Phi Gamma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, a student must have a 3.5 GPA or better, have 12 transferable units and pay a one-time, lifetime membership fee of $75.00.
