Victor Valley College, El Dorado Broadcasters, and San Bernardino County Schools are teaming up to honor some of the hardest working people in the High Desert. Each day, teachers make a difference in their communities, one student at a time. They bring hope, encouragement, and the ability to dream beyond the four walls of the classroom, enabling students to become agents of change in the world around them. Once a month, Teachers "R" Heroes will recognize a local teacher who personifies dedication, both to his/her students and profession. Each honoree will receive a plaque, prizes, and a classroom party. All selected teachers will attend a private celebration at the end of the year.
