Bio:

Hi Everyone!

I am an Associate Faculty member here at VVC in the Religious Studies department and have been teaching here for seven years. I teach Religious Studies 101, 110, 111, and Critical Thinking 207. I teach at a few other colleges as an adjunct professor and am currently pursuing another Master's degree in history from Cal State Fullerton.

In my free time I love to read, especially political and presidential biographies, and I love to watch television series that have great character development and plots (my current favorites include Fringe and Scorpion, both, sadly, no longer on the air!). I also love well-written TV comedies—Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Big Bang Theory, Trial and Error—and you will see examples of that throughout the lectures:) I am not married and have no children, but, I love being an "Auntie" and spending time with my nieces and nephews, of which I have almost 30 now. I am pretty active, enjoying hiking in our various California mountains, kickboxing, and other active sports. Lastly, I am a huge music fan loving all genres and it, along with writing, allow me to express my creative side.
