I
am a native of Peru, South America, but I have also spent many years
in the United States and other Spanish-speaking countries.
Prior
to coming to Victor Valley College in the Fall, 1999, I taught in
colleges and universities in the state of Georgia for 12 years.
I
have presented several papers on different Latin American topics
at various national and international conferences.
I
am a member of the California Language Teachers Association (CLTA),
the California Community College Foreign Language Council (CCCFLC), the
American Association of Teachers of Spanish & Portuguese (AATSP),
and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
