The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
The State of California SB95 Notice advised employees affected by COVID-19 of their rights to benefits under the Supplemental Paid Sick Leave. These provisions will apply from January 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021.
The State of California SB114 extends COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave. These provisions will apply from January 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022.

In accordance with the District's COVID-19 protocols, all employees are required to confirm their vaccination status with Human Resources. The information to be provided by the employee is considered confidential and will only be used for legitimate, non-discriminatory business purposes where information regarding and employee's vaccination status is necessary for the District to make work-related decisions authorized by or in order to comply with federal, state, or local laws that take an employee's vaccination status into account.
