Cassandra Walters

Hi my name is Cassandra Walters and I am ASB Student Services Senator. Along with being ASB Student Services Senator I am also Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Vice President. I came to VVC in the Fall of 2008 where I started with my Agriculture degree. I earned my Agriculture degree in June of 2012 and am now pursuing a Nursing degree. I am a few classes away from being able to apply for the Nursing Program.

Returning to school after so many years has made me really appreciate my education. I knew the day I took my first class at Victor Valley College I wanted to be involved on this campus and participate any way I could in helping and assisting other students with their education goals as well. ASB works with the students in mind, their goal is to make VVC campus better and that is something that is important to me and why I wanted to be a part of ASB.

My position as ASB Student Services Senator is to be involved and to be aware of many things that affect the students within Financial Aid, Admission and Records, Bursars, Counseling, CalWorks, EOPS and Foster Care.

I am enjoying being a part of an ASB Council who cares so much about the students and wants to make a difference here on campus. Looking forward to a sucessful year of change and goals achieved.
