IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Check WebAdvisor under 'MY DOCUMENTS' and your Award letter for updated information.
  • For student loans, there is a new process beginning for 2010/2011 year.
  • Only basic information can be given over the phone or thru e-mail because of Federal Privacy regulations.
  • Drop off any paperwork in the RED Drop Box. No waiting in line. Place your name and ID# on your paperwork in an envelope.
  • Late start classes are NOT included in the first Pell checks.
  • Book advances were taken out of the first Pell checks.
  • If you had a remaining balance on your Fall or Spring book advance you must contact the RAMS Bookstore to receive your refund.
  • Any discrepancies will be made up on the 2nd disbursement.

To apply for financial aid,

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov, listing VVC’s school code 001335.
  2. Wait 5-7 days for VVC to receive your FAFSA information,
  3. Log on to your Webadvisor account at: http://webadvisor.vvc.edu and look under the “My Documents” link to see if the Financial Aid Office requires any additional forms.
  4. If additional forms are required, select the 2010-11 Financial Aid Forms link (on the left side of this website) and complete the required forms by signing electronically and submitting, or drop them off at the Financial Aid Office red drop box located in the atrium in front of the office.
  5. Wait 45 business days for your file to be processed, then view your award letter on Webadvisor.

You may access your Award Letter on WebAdvisor approximately 45 days after you submit your paperwork to our office.

Read the following suggestions:

  • Wondering how to finance your college expenses? Students need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, (FAFSA) immediately, if they have not already done so, for the 2010-2011 academic year. Students must reapply as early as January of each year, to determine financial aid eligibility for the following academic year. Early application may qualify students for additional limited sources of aid available on a first-come, first-served basis. APPLY EARLY!!!
