Transfer Applications
It is especially important to adhere to deadlines when applying to colleges and universities.
The VVC Transfer Center can help you fill out these important applications. During the fall semester we will typically hold two workshops per week to help you with applications since this is the busiest application window. REMEMBER!! You typically will apply to a college or university about one year in advance.
The CSU and UC systems do not give priority to students who apply earlier in the application window. As long as you meet the deadline, your application will be reviewed with all other applicants. Some independent schools do use "rolling admissions" which means that earlier applicants have a better chance of being admitted. Below are a few important time frames and links for your transfer applications.
