Counseling Appointments:
After you have completed your admissions application, online new student orientation, and assessment test counseling appointments can be made by visiting the Counseling Department (Bldg. 55) during the above office hours. Due to high student enrollment and demand for counseling services, we encourage students to stop by the Counseling Department on Mondays to schedule their appointment for the following week. Appointments with counselors are available from 8:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m. between Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 on Fridays. Each day there are a limited number of counseling appointments offered on a first-come, first served walk-in basis. If you are a continuing student, you are not required to meet with a counselor before signing up for your classes. If you are a new or returning student you are highly encouraged to complete your New Student Orientation (online) where you will receive important information on the various resources and services that are provided at VVC. If you are attempting to make a counseling appointment, it is highly encouraged that you make an appointment in person.
