Luis Luviano - Assistant Coach
COACH'S BIO:
Luis Luviano enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Rams men’s soccer team. Luviano brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and playing experience that spans nearly 24 years. Luviano is probably the only individual to head coach two high school programs simultaneously. Luviano is currently the head boy’s soccer coach at Hesperia High School(CIF Division IV) and Mojave High School(HDAAA) in Hesperia, CA. Additionally, Coach Luviano serves as the head soccer coach at Cedar Middle School.
He started playing at age five. While growing up, he got the opportunity to play for various leagues and clubs such as Victorville Club Crush, San Bernardino Club Blast, Victorville Sports League, SoCal Adult Soccer, and Mojave River League. Coach Luviano played soccer from 2001 to 2005 at Hesperia High School, and was on the Varsity team as a right back defender for four consecutive years. He achieved one year 2 nd team all-league and two years 1 st team all-league, as well as a COPS and JOCKS all league player for the High Desert.
Luviano has been living in the High Desert for twenty-three years, where he currently resides with his wife, Veronica, and three daughters. After graduating from Hesperia High in 2005, he attended Victor Valley College where he played one season ofsoccer as a starting defender for Coach Hampton. He is currently on the path of finishing his degree in CriminalJustice. Coach Luviano strives for excellence and has achieved recognition due to his past coaching appearances. He holds titles for both junior high and high school levels of competition which he worked tirelessly to accomplish.
